Our Doctors and Staff All of our staff are considered members of our great, competent Eyewear Gallery family. They are our biggest assets in what we provide to you. It’s a real bonus to love coming to work with people who are our great work family that have been as carefully picked and hired as the Eyecare and Glasses that we provide!
	As a trusted expert in the field of Eyecare for over 20 years, Dr. Johnson has helped thousands of people to protect their eyesight. Dr. Johnson volunteers his time and expertise for the Church Health Center to provide eye care for those with limited incomes. In addition, he has been active as a board member of the YMCA, the Firefighter's Association and his Church Council. He volunteers for the homeless in soup kitchens in downtown Memphis at St. Mary's and 1st Presbyterian. Dr Johnson is licensed as a Medical Optometrist on a number of health care plans.  He is also a member of the American Optometric Association,West Tennessee Optometric Association and West Tennessee Eye Task Force.
	DR. BURTON BODAN
	Dr. Bodan will begin seeing patients at The Eyewear Gallery on Nov. 15, 2007. He practiced for 50 years at an office in Poplar Plaza, which was most recently known as Ultra Optics. Bodan received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana Tech University in 1950 and then went on to study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s School of Optometry. In 1993, he was therapeutically certified to treat glaucoma and eye infections. A Louisiana native, Bodan married Doris Levy, the daughter of longtime Memphis pediatrician Dr. “Peanut” Levy.
	JOHN CARTER
	John Carter has been with the Eyewear Gallery since its beginning in 1995. He has that rare combination of wit and good nature with an unsurpassed level of skill. He is a Tennessee state licensed optician and holds current national certifications in both the American Board of Opticians and the National Contact Lens Examiners. He has over 25 years of experience in the optical field and lends his expertise to anyone who comes into our office in need of information on current lens technology and frame updates in Designer styles in eyewear and sunglasses for all activities.
