As a trusted expert in the field of Eyecare for over 25 years, Dr. Johnson has helped thousands of people to protect their eyesight. Dr. Johnson volunteers his time and expertise for the Church Health Center to provide eye care for those with limited incomes. In addition, he has been active as a board member of the YMCA, the Firefighter's Association and his Church Council. He volunteers for the homeless in soup kitchens in downtown Memphis at St. Mary's and 1st Presbyterian.
Dr Johnson is licensed as a Medical Optometrist on a number of health care plans. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association,West Tennessee Optometric Association and West Tennessee Eye Task Force.
