DR. BURTON BODAN |
Dr. Bodan will begin seeing patients at The Eyewear Gallery on Nov. 15, 2007. He practiced for 50 years at an office in Poplar Plaza, which was most recently known as Ultra Optics.
Bodan received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana Tech University in 1950 and then went on to study at the Southern College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry and his Bachelor of Science degree. In 1993, he was therapeutically certified to treat glaucoma and eye infections. A Louisiana native, Bodan married Doris Levy, the daughter of longtime Memphis pediatrician Dr. “Peanut” Levy. Dr. Burton Bodan attended both the University of Missouri School of Optometry and University of Alabama for post graduate accreditation and licensure for patient therapeutic drug treatment. |
